Dispatch crews and notify clients the moment a snow event is confirmed

Every evening during snow season, WebRun checks the forecast, and when accumulation exceeds your trigger threshold it pulls the snow removal client list from LMN, drafts dispatch instructions for each crew, drafts client activation notices, and posts an ops alert in Slack so your team can review and activate before the snow starts.

In short

How do I automatically dispatch crews and notify clients when a snow event is forecast?

WebRun checks the forecast every evening during snow season, and when accumulation is predicted to exceed your trigger threshold it pulls the snow removal client list from LMN, drafts crew dispatch instructions and client activation notices in Gmail, and posts a Slack ops alert with inventory status. Your operations manager reviews the drafts and activates with one click when the event is confirmed.

  • Crews and clients are ready to activate within minutes of a confirmed forecast, not hours
  • Salt inventory gaps and special access requirements are flagged before the event starts
  • Your operations manager makes the final activation call so no crew is dispatched on a false alarm

Questions, answered

Will it send crew or client messages automatically when snow is forecast?

No. All dispatch instructions and client notices are staged as Gmail drafts and flagged in Slack. Your operations manager makes the activation call and approves every message before it reaches a crew member or client.

What accumulation threshold triggers the draft preparation?

The default is 2 inches of forecast accumulation. You can set your own trigger threshold in your WebRun settings to match your contractual service triggers or local conditions.

What if the snow event is cancelled or the forecast changes overnight?

Because nothing sends automatically, your team simply deletes the staged drafts if the event is called off. No crew is dispatched and no client receives a notice unless someone actively approves and sends the messages.

Put this on autopilot.
