Flag Jobs Running Over Time
Every hour, WebRun checks Housecall Pro for jobs currently in progress, compares each technician's time on site against the estimated job duration, and posts an alert to Slack for any job that has exceeded its estimate - so you can reassign, adjust, or call the customer before the day falls apart.
How can I automatically flag jobs that are running over their estimated time?
Every hour, WebRun checks Housecall Pro for jobs currently in progress, compares each technician's time on site against the estimated job duration, and posts an alert to Slack for any job that has exceeded its estimate - so you can reassign, adjust the scope, or call the customer before the schedule falls apart.
- Over-time jobs are flagged within the hour - not discovered after the fact
- You can adjust scope, reassign, or set customer expectations before the problem compounds
- Hourly visibility into active jobs without manually checking each technician's status

Questions, answered
How does it know when the technician actually started the job?
It reads the 'Job Started' timestamp that Housecall Pro logs when the technician checks in on site. If there is no check-in, it uses the scheduled start time.
Can I change the overrun threshold from 15 minutes?
Yes. Set any threshold you like in the plan - a tight crew may want 10 minutes, while complex jobs might warrant 30.
Will it alert me every hour for the same overrunning job?
Only once per job per day. After the first alert WebRun marks that job as notified and will not post again unless it goes to a second, more severe threshold.
