Automated Sedation Record Audits
Every morning, WebRun opens HI-IQ, reviews the prior day's moderate sedation records for the required elements, logs any record missing a pre-sedation assessment, monitoring interval, medication dose, or recovery note to a Google Sheet, and drafts a completion request to the responsible clinician in Outlook, left unsent for a supervisor to approve.
How do I audit moderate sedation records for missing documentation daily?
WebRun opens HI-IQ every morning and audits the prior day's moderate sedation records for required elements like the pre-sedation assessment, monitoring intervals, doses, and recovery note. It logs each gap to a Google Sheet by case and drafts a completion request to the responsible clinician in Outlook, left unsent for a supervisor to approve.
- Incomplete sedation records are caught the morning after the case
- Clinicians get a specific list of which fields to complete
- Documentation gaps are closed before a chart audit finds them
Built for IR quality managers · interventional radiology charge nurses · IR compliance leads · angio lab supervisors
What does WebRun do on every run?
The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

1
HI-IQ - audit sedation records for missing fields
WebRun opens HI-IQ to audit sedation records for missing fields. - Open HI-IQ and pull the prior day's cases that involved moderate sedation
- Check each record for the required elements: pre-sedation assessment, ASA class, monitoring intervals, medication and dose, and a recovery or discharge note
- Flag every record missing one or more required elements
- Note the case, the responsible clinician, and exactly which fields are blank
Done when Every moderate sedation record from the prior day is checked and each missing element is identified by case and clinician.
-
2
Google Sheets - log the documentation gaps
WebRun opens Google Sheets to log the documentation gaps. - Open the Sedation Documentation Audit sheet and add a dated block
- Append one row per incomplete record with the case number, clinician, and the specific fields that are blank
- Mark records still incomplete from earlier days that have not been fixed
- Total how many records are complete versus incomplete for the day
Done when The audit sheet lists every incomplete sedation record with its missing fields and a complete-versus-incomplete tally.
-
3
Outlook - draft completion requests to clinicians
WebRun opens Outlook to draft completion requests to clinicians. - Group the incomplete records by responsible clinician
- Draft one completion request email per clinician listing their cases and the exact fields to complete, using case numbers rather than patient names
- Leave every email unsent in the Drafts folder for a supervisor to review and send
- Never send the completion request automatically
Done when A completion request is drafted per clinician and waiting in Drafts, with nothing sent yet.
How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it email clinicians without me?
No. WebRun drafts each completion request in Outlook and leaves it unsent. A supervisor reviews it and sends it. Because these records concern patients, nothing goes out without a human approving it first.
Does it change or complete the sedation record itself?
No. WebRun only reads each record and reports which required fields are blank. The clinician completes the documentation in HI-IQ. WebRun never edits the clinical record.
How does it protect patient information?
The Google Sheet and Outlook drafts reference cases by case number, not patient names, and stay inside your organization. No patient identifiers are sent to any outside service, and the drafts wait for approval before any send.
