Automated DocuSign Application Chasing

Every morning, WebRun opens DocuSign, finds application and ACORD envelopes still waiting on a signer, captures who is holding each one up and how long it has sat, drafts a polite follow-up in Gmail left unsent, and posts your team a Slack list of envelopes to push.

In short

How do I chase unsigned DocuSign applications automatically?

Every morning, WebRun opens DocuSign and finds application and ACORD envelopes still waiting on a signer, capturing who is holding each one up and how long it has sat. It drafts a polite follow-up per signer in Gmail, left unsent, and posts your team a Slack list, so unsigned applications get pushed before they quietly stall.

  • Stuck envelopes surface every morning, not at month-end
  • Each shows the exact signer and days outstanding
  • Follow-ups are drafted and ready, sending stays a human call

Built for independent insurance agencies · producers · agency operations leads · new-business teams

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens account.docusign.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
    DocuSign - find unsigned envelopes
    docusign.com
WebRun in DocuSign: find unsigned envelopes
WebRun opens DocuSign to find envelopes still waiting on a signer.
    • Open DocuSign and go to the Sent folder and the Waiting for Others view
    • Find application and ACORD envelopes not yet completed
    • Capture each envelope's recipient, the signer it is waiting on, and how many days it has sat

Done when Every unsigned application envelope has been captured with its pending signer and age.

  3. 2
    Gmail - draft signer follow-ups
    gmail.com
WebRun in Gmail: draft signer follow-ups
WebRun drafts a polite signer follow-up and leaves it unsent.
    • Draft a short, polite follow-up to the signer who is holding each envelope up
    • Reference the document and remind them it only takes a moment to sign
    • Save each as a draft and leave it unsent for a producer to review and send

Done when Each waiting envelope has a follow-up draft saved and unsent in Gmail.

  4. 3
Slack - post what is waiting
    slack.com
WebRun in Slack: post what is waiting
WebRun posts the unsigned-envelope list with the oldest on top.
    • Post a short list of envelopes still waiting, leading with the oldest
    • Name the signer and days outstanding so the owner can push
    • Leave sending to the team. Never send a signer email or resend an envelope on its own

Done when Your team has today's list of unsigned envelopes to push in Slack.

Questions, answered

Will it email signers or resend envelopes on its own?

No. WebRun drafts a follow-up in Gmail and leaves it unsent, and never resends a DocuSign envelope itself. A producer reviews and sends. It only finds what is stuck and prepares the nudge.

How does it know an envelope is stuck?

It reads the Sent and Waiting for Others views in DocuSign, finds envelopes not yet completed, and captures how long each has waited and which recipient still needs to sign.

Does it tell me who is holding things up?

Yes. Each flagged envelope names the exact recipient it is waiting on and the days outstanding, so it is clear whether the delay sits with the insured or another signer.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
