Automated Instacart Weekly Restock Carts

Every Monday, WebRun opens Instacart, adds every item on your standing restock list to the cart at your usual store, flags anything out of stock or priced above your ceiling, writes the line items and prices into Airtable, then pings you on Telegram with the cart total so you can review and place the order yourself.

In short

How do I automate a weekly Instacart restock order for the office?

WebRun opens Instacart every Monday and fills your cart from a standing restock list at your usual store, flagging out-of-stock items and prices above your ceiling. It logs every line item to Airtable and pings you on Telegram with the total, leaving the order for you to place.

  • The weekly restock takes one tap instead of twenty minutes of searching
  • Out-of-stock items are named before checkout, not substituted after
  • Every week's prices land in Airtable so creeping costs are visible

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens instacart.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

    • Include the link to the cart so approving takes one tap
    • Say clearly that the order has not been placed

Done when You have the cart summary on Telegram and the order is still waiting for you.

Questions, answered

Will it place the order or charge my card?

No. WebRun fills the cart and stops there. It never checks out, never enters payment details, and never charges anything. You review the cart from the Telegram link and place the order yourself.

What happens when an item is out of stock?

WebRun leaves it out and names it in the Telegram summary and the Airtable log, so you can pick a replacement rather than having a substitution chosen for you.

Can I cap what it adds?

Yes. Set a price ceiling per item or a cart total limit, and anything above it is flagged in the summary instead of being quietly added at the higher price.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
