Automated Medical Supply Reorder
Every morning, WebRun opens your supply inventory Google Sheet, checks each item's quantity against its reorder threshold, drafts a purchase order email per supplier in Gmail for manager review, and posts a Slack alert listing everything that needs reordering so nothing runs out during an active patient week.
How do I automatically track and reorder home health medical supplies?
WebRun checks your supply inventory Google Sheet each morning and flags every item below its reorder threshold. It drafts a purchase order email per supplier in Gmail for manager review and posts a Slack low-stock alert with quantities and supplier details, so no medical supply runs out during an active patient week.
- No supply runs out mid-week because the reorder was not noticed in time
- Purchase order drafts are grouped by supplier so the manager approves one email per vendor
- Thresholds live in the Sheet so any team member can adjust them without touching the workflow

Questions, answered
Will it place a supply order or send an email to a supplier without manager approval?
No. Every purchase order is saved as a Gmail draft and held for manager review. The manager sees the low-stock summary in Slack, opens the Gmail drafts, and sends only the orders they approve. No order goes out automatically.
How do I set reorder thresholds for each supply item?
Add a reorder threshold column to your inventory Google Sheet next to the current quantity column. WebRun reads the threshold from that column each morning. You can set different thresholds per item and adjust them any time by updating the Sheet.
What if the same item is stocked by more than one supplier?
You can add a preferred supplier column to the Sheet. WebRun will use the preferred supplier for the draft order. If no preference is set, it lists the item as unassigned in the Slack alert so the manager can choose the supplier before approving.
