In short

How do I automatically get alerted to job site incidents and schedule exceptions in Buildertrend?

Every morning, WebRun scans Buildertrend daily logs and the scheduling view for incidents, missed milestones, and overdue tasks across all active jobs, logs each exception in a Google Sheets incident register with a severity rating, and posts a prioritised Slack alert so your team can respond the same morning before issues compound.

  • Every job site incident and missed milestone surfaces the same morning it is logged in Buildertrend
  • High severity exceptions lead every daily Slack alert for immediate triage
  • Incident register in Google Sheets builds a searchable history for every active job

Questions, answered

Does it notify clients or subs about incidents automatically?

No. The exception alert is an internal Slack post for your operations team only. Any external communication about an incident remains entirely in your team's hands.

What counts as a High severity exception?

Safety incidents, missed inspection deadlines, or a schedule milestone slipping by more than 3 days are flagged High. Your team can customise the thresholds.

How does it know if a daily log note is an incident versus routine?

It looks for keywords in Buildertrend daily log entries such as injury, damage, delay, failed inspection, or weather stop, and flags those logs for inclusion in the alert.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
