In short

How do I turn my Hey Paper Trail receipts into an expense record?

Every Monday, WebRun opens the Paper Trail in your Hey account, reads each receipt email and its attachments, and records the vendor, date, and amount. It books a filing slot in Google Calendar and texts you the weekly total through Twilio, so an expense claim is no longer a search through email.

  • Receipts are recorded weekly instead of hunted at quarter end
  • Every entry carries a vendor, a date, and an amount
  • Unreadable amounts are flagged rather than guessed

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

    • Note which receipts carry a PDF or image attachment and which are text only
    • Group the receipts by vendor so a repeating subscription is easy to see
    • Flag any receipt where the amount could not be read, rather than guessing at a number

Done when You have this week's receipt count and total by SMS.

Questions, answered

Will it file the expense claim or pay anything?

No. WebRun only reads receipts and builds the list. Filing a claim, moving money, and sending anything to your accountant stay with you, and the calendar block it creates invites nobody.

What if it cannot read an amount?

It flags that receipt rather than guessing. Unreadable amounts are named in the SMS and marked in the list, so a wrong figure never enters your expense record.

Does it move or delete emails in Hey?

No. It reads Paper Trail and leaves every email exactly where it is. Nothing is archived, moved, or deleted from your account.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
