Automated GoFrugal Outlet Margin Summary

Every Monday, WebRun opens GoFrugal for last week's sales and gross margin by outlet, reads each outlet's operating costs from Xero, works out the net contribution for each, and posts a ranked Slack summary so you can see which stores earn their keep and which are quietly bleeding.

In short

How do I compare net margin across my retail outlets?

Every Monday, WebRun opens GoFrugal for last week's sales and gross margin per outlet, then reads each outlet's operating costs from Xero to work out true net contribution. It posts a ranked Slack summary, best to worst, so you can see which stores earn their keep and which are quietly losing money.

  • Loss-making outlets surfaced every Monday
  • True net margin per store, not just gross
  • Costs from Xero folded into one ranked view

Questions, answered

Is the Slack summary shared outside my team?

No. WebRun posts only to your own internal Slack channel. The margin summary is a private management read-out. WebRun never shares it externally and never changes a figure in GoFrugal or Xero.

How does it get a true net margin per outlet?

It takes sales and gross margin from GoFrugal, then subtracts each outlet's tracked operating costs from Xero, rent, payroll, and overheads, so you see net contribution, not just top-line gross margin.

What if an outlet's costs are not split out in Xero?

It uses whatever tracking categories you map per outlet in Xero. Where a cost is not split, it flags the outlet as gross-margin-only so you know the net figure is still pending.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
