Automated eClinicalWorks GI No-Show Report

Every afternoon, WebRun opens eClinicalWorks, identifies appointments that were not checked in or were marked no-show, compiles the patient list with provider and appointment type, and posts the report to Slack so staff can reschedule before the end of business.

In short

How can I automatically track GI patient no-shows each day?

WebRun reviews the eClinicalWorks schedule every afternoon and identifies every appointment that ended as a no-show or unchecked-in visit. It posts a prioritized report to Slack listing each patient, appointment type, and provider, so your front desk can contact patients and recover slots before the day closes.

  • No-show slots are identified and actionable before the end of every business day
  • Procedure no-shows (colonoscopy, endoscopy) are flagged as high priority automatically
  • Staff spend seconds reviewing a clean list instead of manually auditing the schedule

Built for GI practice managers · gastroenterology front desk teams · endoscopy center coordinators

Questions, answered

Will it contact no-show patients automatically?

No. WebRun produces an internal report for staff to review. Any outreach to patients must be initiated by a team member, keeping PHI protected and giving staff control over reschedule conversations.

How does it distinguish a no-show from a late arrival?

It checks eClinicalWorks for appointments that remain in an unconfirmed or no-show status after the appointment window closes, so late check-ins who are still in the system are not included.

Can it track no-show trends over time?

Each day's report is timestamped in Slack. For trend analysis, pair this workflow with a Google Sheets logging step to accumulate the data week over week.
