Automated Rate Confirmation Chaser for Freight Brokers

Every morning, WebRun opens DAT One, identifies loads scheduled to pick up within 24 hours that are missing a signed rate confirmation, and drafts a follow-up email to the carrier for each one, saving the draft in Gmail for a broker to review and send so the load is covered before departure.

In short

How do I automatically chase missing rate confirmations before a load picks up?

WebRun opens DAT One at 6:30 AM every morning and identifies loads scheduled to pick up within 24 hours that are missing a signed rate confirmation. For each gap it drafts a follow-up email to the carrier in Gmail, ready for a broker to review and send, so no truck rolls without the paperwork in place.

  • No load departs without a signed rate confirmation on file
  • Brokers find drafted carrier chasers waiting at 6:30 AM
  • Overnight rate confirmations already detected and skipped automatically

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens one.dat.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
DAT - find loads missing rate confirmation
    dat.com
WebRun in DAT: find loads missing rate confirmation
WebRun opens DAT to find loads missing rate confirmation.
    • Open DAT One and filter loads scheduled to pick up within the next 24 hours
    • Check each load for a signed rate confirmation in the load file
    • List every load missing a rate confirmation with carrier name, MC number, pickup time, and lane

Done when All loads picking up within 24 hours are checked and those without a rate confirmation are identified.

  3. 2
Gmail - draft carrier follow-up for review
    gmail.com
WebRun in Gmail: draft carrier follow-up for review
WebRun opens Gmail to draft carrier follow-up for review.
    • Draft a follow-up email to the carrier for each load missing a rate confirmation
    • Include the load ID, lane, rate, and pickup window in the draft
    • Save as a Gmail draft for a broker to review and send, not sent automatically

Done when One Gmail draft exists per missing rate confirmation, ready for broker review before the pickup window.

Questions, answered

Will it send the follow-up to the carrier automatically?

No. Each follow-up is saved as a Gmail draft for a broker to review and send. Carrier communications require human approval before anything leaves your inbox.

How early in the day does it run?

It runs at 6:30 AM by default so brokers have the draft follow-ups waiting when they arrive, with enough time to get a signed rate confirmation before the pickup window opens.

What if the carrier already sent the rate confirmation overnight?

WebRun checks the live load file in DAT One each run. If a signed rate confirmation was uploaded overnight, the load will not appear in the missing-documents list.
