In short

How do I get an automatic weekly profit-per-file report from Magaya?

WebRun opens Magaya every Monday, pulls every shipment file closed in the prior week, and reads the revenue and cost breakdown for each. It ranks the results by gross profit, logs the full detail in a Google Sheet, and posts a management summary to Slack with totals and outliers, giving your team a consistent weekly profitability view without any manual report pulling.

  • Weekly profit-per-file report delivered without manual Magaya report-pulling
  • Top and bottom performing files surfaced every Monday for management review
  • Files with incomplete cost data flagged so margin figures are clearly labeled as estimates

Questions, answered

Does it calculate net profit after overhead, or gross profit only?

It calculates gross profit per file using the direct revenue and cost figures recorded in Magaya. Overhead allocation is not included unless your Magaya setup allocates it to individual files.

What if a file has unbilled costs at the time of the report?

Files with open cost lines are flagged in the Google Sheet as having incomplete cost data so your team knows the margin figure may change once all costs are finalized.

Can I filter the report by trade lane or mode?

Yes. The Google Sheet includes mode and trade lane columns. You can add your own filters or pivot table to slice the data by any dimension after WebRun populates it each week.
