Automated Ramp Month-End Close Readiness Report

Every morning in the final week of the month, WebRun opens Ramp, counts all open items blocking close (missing receipts, unsubmitted reports, pending approvals, and uncoded transactions), checks the corresponding sync status in QuickBooks, and posts a close-readiness scorecard to Slack so your finance team knows the exact gap before the deadline.

In short

How do I track Ramp month-end close readiness automatically?

WebRun checks Ramp every morning during close week, counts every open item by category (receipts, unsubmitted reports, pending approvals, uncoded transactions), validates the sync status in QuickBooks, and posts a rated close-readiness scorecard to Slack. Finance teams know exactly what to fix and whether they are ahead or behind prior-month pace.

  • Finance team knows the exact close gap every morning during close week
  • QuickBooks sync errors caught before they delay the books
  • Prior-month comparison shows whether the team is ahead or behind pace

Questions, answered

Does it run all month or only near month-end?

You can configure it to run daily all month or only during the last week. Most teams enable it for the final 5 business days when close pressure is highest.

What does the readiness rating mean?

Green means all categories are below your target open-item count. Yellow means one or two categories need attention. Red means the team is at risk of missing close. You set the thresholds during setup.

Can it fix QuickBooks sync errors automatically?

No. WebRun identifies and reports the sync gap between Ramp and QuickBooks. Resolving sync errors is a human action in either Ramp's accounting integration settings or QuickBooks directly.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
