Give line leads a heads up before every SMT changeover

Every 15 minutes during production hours, WebRun checks the FactoryLogix line schedule for changeovers coming up in the next 30 minutes, texts the line lead through Twilio which job is ending and which is loading next, and posts the full day's changeover sequence to your production Telegram group.

In short

How do I give line leads advance notice before an SMT changeover?

WebRun checks the FactoryLogix line schedule every few minutes for changeovers due in the next 30 minutes, texts the line lead through Twilio which job is ending and which is loading next, and posts the full day's changeover sequence to your production Telegram group, so no line loses time waiting on a setup nobody saw coming.

  • Line leads get a 30 minute heads up instead of finding out at the machine
  • The floor sees the full day's changeover sequence in one place
  • A resequenced line updates its notice automatically instead of going stale

Questions, answered

How far ahead does the line lead get notified?

30 minutes before the changeover is scheduled to start, based on the run schedule already set in FactoryLogix. That is enough time to stage the next program and feeder setup without rushing.

Does it change the run sequence?

No. WebRun only reads the schedule already set in FactoryLogix and notifies the line lead. Resequencing a line still happens as a person, inside FactoryLogix.

What if the schedule changes during the shift?

It rechecks FactoryLogix every few minutes, so a resequenced changeover updates the Telegram sequence and still gets its own 30 minute text to the line lead.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
