In short

How do I make sure dermatology biopsy results are reviewed and actioned promptly?

WebRun opens EZDerm every morning, identifies biopsy results that have arrived but have not yet been reviewed, and posts a prioritized worklist to the provider's Slack channel. Urgent and malignant findings are flagged first. Patient communication is never automated. The provider reviews the worklist and decides next steps before any contact is made.

  • No biopsy result sits unreviewed in the inbox overnight
  • Urgent and malignant results are surfaced first in the daily worklist
  • Patient communication remains under provider control at all times

Questions, answered

Will it send biopsy results to patients directly?

No. WebRun only creates an internal worklist for the provider in Slack. All patient communication is handled by the care team after clinical review, never automated.

Does the Slack message include protected health information?

The worklist includes only the minimum necessary fields: patient name, biopsy site, and collection date. Full pathology text and diagnostic details remain inside EZDerm and are not sent to Slack.

What if the provider has already reviewed a result?

WebRun filters to results not yet marked as reviewed in EZDerm each run, so actioned results are automatically excluded from the next worklist.
