PDI Technologies Automated Fuel Margin Digest
Every morning, WebRun opens PDI Technologies, reads the current retail price and dealer cost for each fuel grade at every active location, calculates the cents-per-gallon margin, compares it against your target margin thresholds, and posts a fuel margin digest to your pricing Slack channel with any location falling below threshold flagged in red.
How do I track daily fuel margins across my convenience store locations automatically?
WebRun opens PDI Technologies every morning, reads retail prices and dealer costs for every fuel grade at each active location, calculates the cents-per-gallon margin, and posts a digest to your pricing Slack channel. Sites where margin falls below your threshold are flagged so your team can reprice before the compressed margin compounds.
- Compressed fuel margins are flagged before they compound over multiple days
- Pricing team sees margin by grade and site every morning without pulling reports
- Network average margin is always visible alongside individual site performance
Built for fuel retail pricing managers · convenience store operators · fuel wholesale teams

Questions, answered
Does it change fuel prices automatically when margin compresses?
No. WebRun only calculates and reports the margin. Price changes are always made by your pricing team in PDI Technologies after reviewing the digest.
What fuel grades does it cover?
By default it covers regular unleaded, midgrade, premium, and diesel. You can add or remove grades during setup to match the grades your sites offer.
How does it know the dealer cost?
It reads the dealer cost recorded in PDI Technologies for each location and grade. If your costs are updated in PDI during the day, the next morning's run will use the updated figure.
