In short

How do I automate end-of-day cash reconciliation for my convenience stores?

WebRun opens PDI Technologies each night after close, pulls cash-register and payment-method totals for every location, and compares them against expected amounts. Variances are logged to a Google Sheet with red highlights, and a summary journal entry covering all sales and over/short amounts is posted to QuickBooks automatically.

  • Every register variance is flagged and logged by midnight
  • QuickBooks journal entries are posted nightly without manual data entry
  • Accounting team starts each morning with a clean, reconciled ledger

Questions, answered

What happens if a register is over or short by a large amount?

Any variance above the threshold you set is highlighted in red in the Google Sheet. The QuickBooks journal entry still records the actual amount, and a note flags it for your accounting team to investigate.

Does it post journal entries to QuickBooks automatically?

Yes. End-of-day journal entries are internal accounting records, not external-facing actions, so WebRun posts them automatically. Your accountant can review and adjust them the next morning.

Can it handle multiple store locations in one run?

Yes. It processes every active location in PDI Technologies and produces one Google Sheets row per register, plus a single consolidated journal entry in QuickBooks for the full day.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
