Automated Knowify Material Reorder Alerts
Every morning, WebRun opens Knowify, checks material and inventory levels against your reorder thresholds, and posts a prioritized restock alert to Slack listing every item that needs to be ordered before the next pour or pave.
How do I automatically get alerts when concrete materials are running low in Knowify?
WebRun checks Knowify every morning for materials falling below your reorder thresholds, ranks them by urgency based on upcoming jobs, and posts a restock alert to Slack. Your purchasing team sees exactly what to order before any job stalls on site. No orders are placed automatically.
- Low-stock materials surface the morning before a job starts, not mid-pour
- Purchasing gets a ranked list sorted by which jobs are soonest
- No manual inventory checks needed in Knowify each day
Built for concrete contractors · paving contractors · purchasing managers · construction ops teams

Questions, answered
Will it place purchase orders automatically?
No. WebRun alerts you in Slack when materials are low but never places orders on its own. Purchasing decisions and supplier orders stay entirely in your hands.
How do I set the reorder thresholds?
Reorder thresholds are set in Knowify on each material record. WebRun reads those thresholds at run time, so updating a threshold in Knowify is enough, with no changes needed in WebRun.
What if the alert fires on a weekend and the supplier is closed?
The alert still posts so the information is available. You can schedule the run only on weekdays in WebRun settings, or keep the daily run and act on Monday's alert when suppliers open.
