Automated Catering Staff Shift Confirmations
Every morning, WebRun opens Total Party Planner, finds staff scheduled for events in the next 48 hours who have not confirmed their shift, drafts a confirmation request for each in Gmail, and posts a Slack summary so you know who is still unconfirmed.
How do I automatically confirm catering staff shifts before events?
WebRun opens Total Party Planner every morning and finds every staff member scheduled for an event in the next 48 hours who has not yet confirmed their shift. It drafts a personalised confirmation email in Gmail for each person and posts your management team a Slack summary of all open shifts grouped by event, so you know exactly who to chase.
- Every staff member receives a confirmation request at least 48 hours before their shift
- Managers get a clear Slack view of all unconfirmed shifts each morning
- Staff who already confirmed are skipped automatically from live schedule data
Built for catering companies · event caterers · catering operations managers · banquet teams

Secure by default

WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it message staff without my approval?
No. Every shift confirmation is saved as a Gmail draft for you to review first. Nothing is sent to a staff member until you approve and click Send.
Does it re-chase staff who still have not replied after the first message?
Yes. On each daily run it checks who is still unconfirmed and drafts a follow-up for anyone who has not responded, so nobody is chased twice for the same shift without a new draft for you to review.
What if a staff member already confirmed through another channel?
It reads the live confirmation status in Total Party Planner each run, so anyone who has confirmed is automatically skipped.
