Automated Axe Throwing Shift Coverage Alerts

Every morning, WebRun checks your ROLLER booking schedule for the next two days to see how many sessions are booked, cross-references your staff Google Calendar for confirmed shifts, identifies any session that is under-staffed based on your minimum ratio, and posts an alert to your Slack channel so managers can arrange cover before the gap becomes a problem.

In short

How do I automatically get alerted when an axe throwing shift needs cover?

WebRun checks your ROLLER session schedule every morning and cross-references it with your staff Google Calendar to find any time slot in the next 48 hours where confirmed coaches fall below your minimum ratio. It posts a staffing alert to your Slack channel so managers can arrange cover well before the session starts.

  • Under-staffed sessions are flagged 48 hours in advance, not the day of
  • Managers get one clear Slack alert instead of checking two separate systems
  • An all-covered confirmation runs automatically when no action is needed

Questions, answered

What is the minimum staffing ratio it checks against?

The default is two coaches for any session slot with more than four booked lanes. You can set your own ratio in WebRun's settings to match your venue's safety policy.

Will it contact staff directly to fill the gap?

No. WebRun posts the alert to your management Slack channel and leaves the cover-finding to your team. Messaging staff directly about shifts requires your approval.

What if no gaps are found?

WebRun still posts a brief all-covered confirmation to the channel so your team knows the check ran and no action is needed.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
