MAM Autopart Automated Credit Hold Worklist

Every morning, WebRun opens MAM Software Autopart, finds every trade account on credit hold, captures the outstanding balance, hold age, and credit limit, logs the full worklist to Google Sheets, and posts the credit controller a Slack alert ranked by balance so holds are reviewed before the account appears at the trade counter and causes a scene.

In short

How do I automatically manage trade account credit holds in MAM Autopart before customers arrive at the counter?

Every morning, WebRun pulls every trade account on credit hold from MAM Software Autopart, captures the outstanding balance and hold age, logs the worklist to Google Sheets, and posts the credit controller a ranked Slack alert so holds are reviewed and actioned before an account turns up at the trade counter and causes a problem.

  • Credit holds are reviewed before the trade counter opens so no customer is turned away without warning
  • Holds over 7 days are escalated automatically so chronic bad payers do not stay unresolved
  • Total balance at risk is visible every morning so cash flow risk is quantified daily

Questions, answered

Will it automatically release credit holds when a payment is received?

No. Releasing a credit hold in MAM Software Autopart is done by your credit controller after they have verified payment. WebRun only surfaces the list so the decision stays with a human every time.

What if a trade customer on hold turns up at the trade counter?

Because the worklist runs before the counter opens each morning, your staff already know which accounts are on hold and can handle the situation without needing to check the system live in front of the customer.

Can it notify the customer that their account is on hold?

Not automatically. WebRun posts an internal worklist only. If you want to contact a customer, the credit controller prepares that message and sends it from their own email so the communication is reviewed first.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
