Automated Punchpass No-show Deposit Alerts
Every morning, WebRun opens Punchpass to check yesterday's attendance against deposit-required bookings, finds clients who no-showed without cancelling in time, checks Stripe for the card held on file, and drafts the deposit charge in Slack for staff to review and approve before anything is charged.
How do I automatically catch and review no-show deposit charges?
WebRun checks Punchpass every morning for no-shows on deposit-required classes, confirms the client didn't cancel within your policy window, checks Stripe for the card held on file, and posts the charge decision to Slack for staff to review. No deposit is ever charged automatically, so the policy gets enforced consistently while a person still makes the final call.
- No-show deposits get reviewed the same day, not weeks later
- Deposit policy gets enforced consistently across every class
- No card is ever charged without a person's final approval

Questions, answered
Will it charge the client's card automatically?
No. It only checks the card on file and posts the charge decision to Slack. Every deposit charge is a manual approval in Stripe, never automatic.
How does it know a no-show is actually eligible for the deposit policy?
It checks that the client didn't cancel within your policy's window before flagging them, so a valid late cancellation is never treated as a no-show.
What if the client has no card on file?
It flags those separately in the Slack queue so staff know to follow up directly instead of expecting an automatic charge.
