Automated Gear Return Tracking

Every morning, WebRun reads your gear tracking sheet in Google Sheets and identifies rented equipment due for return today or within the next 24 hours. It posts a flagged list to the production Slack channel, sends a Telegram reminder to the responsible crew member, and queues a return reminder so no rental runs over and racks up late fees.

Questions, answered

Does it send the Telegram reminder automatically or wait for approval?

Telegram reminders to crew members are internal operational messages and are sent automatically each morning. These go only to your own team, not to rental companies or external contacts, so no external communication happens without a human in the loop.

How does it know who is responsible for each piece of gear?

It reads the responsible crew member column in your gear tracking sheet and their linked Telegram handle. Keep the sheet updated when gear is checked out and WebRun will always ping the right person.

What happens when gear is returned and marked back in the sheet?

WebRun reads the live status column each morning, so any item marked as Returned in the sheet is automatically skipped and no reminder is sent for that item again.
