Automated Cin7 Stockout Risk Watchlist

Every morning, WebRun opens Cin7, calculates days of stock remaining for each active SKU based on recent sales velocity, and writes every high-risk item to a Google Sheet watchlist sorted by days until stockout.

In short

How can I automatically identify which SKUs are at risk of stocking out in the next two weeks?

WebRun opens Cin7 every morning, computes days of stock remaining for every active SKU using 30-day average sales velocity, and writes all items under 14 days of cover to a Google Sheet watchlist sorted by urgency. Buyers see the risk before orders are missed and can act while lead times still permit.

  • At-risk SKUs identified up to two weeks before a stockout
  • Buyers open a sorted watchlist each morning rather than hunting through Cin7 manually
  • Stockout-driven lost sales reduced by acting inside the supplier lead time

Questions, answered

Will it place purchase orders automatically when stockout risk is high?

No. WebRun writes the risk watchlist to Google Sheets for your team to review. Placing orders remains a human decision, so no spend is committed without approval.

How does it calculate days of cover?

It divides current stock on hand by the 30-day average daily sales rate pulled from Cin7 sales history. Items with no recent sales are excluded from the risk calculation.

Can I change the 14-day threshold?

Yes. Tell WebRun your preferred lead-time window during setup, and it will flag SKUs below that number of days of cover instead of the default 14 days.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
