Automated Cin7 New SKU Setup
When a new SKU is marked approved in your Airtable new-product intake form, WebRun opens Cin7, creates a draft product record with the name, SKU code, unit of measure, cost price, sales price, category, and supplier from the Airtable form, and posts a Slack notification to your inventory team to review and activate the record.
How do I automatically set up new SKUs in Cin7 when they are approved in my product intake process?
When a new SKU is marked approved in your Airtable intake form, WebRun opens Cin7 and drafts a complete product record with name, code, cost price, sales price, category, supplier, and initial reorder point. The record is left inactive for team review, and a Slack notification prompts your inventory team to check and activate it, cutting the manual data-entry step from your new-product workflow.
- New SKU records drafted in Cin7 minutes after approval, not days
- No manual re-entry of product data from the intake form to Cin7
- Every new product goes live only after a team member reviews and activates the draft

Questions, answered
Will it make the new SKU live in Cin7 automatically?
No. WebRun creates the product record in draft or inactive status. A team member must review the record and activate it in Cin7 before it becomes available for sales orders or purchase orders.
What if some required fields are missing from the Airtable form?
WebRun will fill in the fields it has and leave the missing fields blank in the Cin7 draft. The Slack notification will list which fields need to be completed before the team activates the record.
Can it handle product variants such as size or color in Cin7?
Yes. If your Airtable form captures variant details, WebRun can create a parent product with child variant records in Cin7. Configure the variant fields in the Airtable form and tell WebRun the mapping during setup.
