Tekla PowerFab Automatic RFI Response Tracking

Every morning, WebRun opens Procore, pulls every RFI your team has submitted that is still open, matches each one to the piece marks and drawings on hold in Tekla PowerFab, and posts a Microsoft Teams alert for any RFI that has gone past its expected response time and is holding up fabrication.

In short

How do I track which open RFIs are actually holding up my fabrication schedule?

WebRun pulls every open RFI your team submitted in Procore each morning, matches each one to the piece marks and drawings it's holding in Tekla PowerFab, and posts a ranked Teams alert for any RFI overdue for a response. Your PM sees exactly which unanswered questions are actually stalling fabrication, instead of scrolling the full RFI log.

  • Overdue RFIs are ranked by how many piece marks they're actually holding
  • PMs stop manually cross checking the RFI log against the fabrication schedule
  • Every open RFI is visible with its real impact on the shop, not just its age

Built for structural steel fabricators · steel detailers · fabrication shop PMs · project engineers

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it follow up with the GC or engineer of record on its own?

No. WebRun only flags overdue RFIs internally in Teams. Any follow up with the GC or EOR is a call or email your PM sends themselves.

How does it know an RFI is overdue?

It compares each RFI's submitted date against its expected response date in Procore, so anything past that date is flagged the next morning.

Does it track RFIs that don't affect fabrication?

It reads every open RFI from Procore, but it only shows piece marks on hold for RFIs it can match to a job and drawing in Tekla PowerFab.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
