Automated Shopify BOPIS Pickup Worklist
Every hour, WebRun opens Shopify, finds all new buy-online-pickup-in-store orders across your POS locations, groups them by store, and posts a prioritized pick-and-pack worklist to Slack so staff can fulfil orders before customers arrive.
How do I automatically keep store staff updated on BOPIS pickup orders?
WebRun checks Shopify every hour for new buy-online-pickup-in-store orders, groups them by pickup location, and posts a prioritized pick-and-pack worklist to Slack. Store staff see exactly which orders need picking before customers arrive, with customer names, order numbers, and item details.
- Staff always have an up-to-date pick list before customers arrive for pickup
- No BOPIS order sits unnoticed because no one checked the admin
- Each location only sees its own queue so there is no cross-store confusion
Built for omnichannel retailers · click-and-collect store teams · Shopify POS operators · retail operations managers

Questions, answered
Does it notify the customer that their order is ready?
No. WebRun only posts an internal Slack worklist for staff. Any customer-facing ready-for-pickup notification stays in Shopify and is sent by your team after they mark the order fulfilled.
What if a location has no pending BOPIS orders?
WebRun skips posting for that location if there is nothing new, so staff are not flooded with empty updates.
Does it cover multiple pickup locations?
Yes. WebRun groups orders by Shopify location so each store only sees its own queue, and a manager channel can receive a combined view if needed.
