In short

How do I catch failed tuition autopay charges before they add up?

WebRun checks Prenda's billing status every morning for tuition autopay charges that failed or were declined. For each family it drafts a friendly payment update email in Gmail, ready for admin to review and send. It also posts a Telegram list of who still needs to update their card, catching a declined payment within a day.

  • Failed tuition payments get caught the same morning, not after a second miss
  • Every family gets a ready to send payment update instead of a form letter
  • Admin sees repeat failures flagged before a seat's tuition falls seriously behind

Questions, answered

Will it email families about their declined card automatically?

No. WebRun only drafts the payment update email in Gmail, it never sends on its own. Your admin reviews and sends it, so no billing message reaches a family unapproved.

How soon does it catch a failed payment?

The same morning it happens. WebRun checks Prenda's billing status daily, so a declined card gets flagged before the next autopay attempt, not after several silent retries.

What if a family already fixed their card?

It reads the live charge status in Prenda each run, so any family whose retry already succeeded is skipped automatically.

Put this on autopilot.
