Automated Liquor Store Weekly Margin Report

Every Monday, WebRun opens City Hive, pulls last week's sales revenue and cost of goods sold by category, calculates gross margin for each category and the top-selling SKUs, logs the results in Google Sheets, and posts a margin summary to Slack so management can see what is driving and what is eroding profitability.

In short

How do I get an automated weekly gross margin report for my liquor store?

WebRun pulls last week's sales and cost data from City Hive every Monday, calculates gross margin by category and top SKU, logs the results in Google Sheets, and posts a summary to Slack. Management sees which categories are protecting margin and which are eroding it, without anyone pulling a report by hand.

  • Margin by category is visible in Slack every Monday morning
  • Week-on-week margin declines are flagged before they compound
  • No manual report pulling needed from City Hive

Built for liquor store owners · bottle shop managers · wine and spirits buyers · beverage retail finance teams

Questions, answered

Does it need cost of goods data to be set up in City Hive first?

Yes. WebRun reads the cost and revenue figures that are already in City Hive. Make sure your product costs are entered accurately in the platform for the margin calculations to be correct.

Can it break margin down by supplier or distributor instead of category?

Yes. Tell WebRun which grouping matters most to your buying decisions and it will structure the report accordingly, whether by category, supplier, or both.

Is any financial data shared outside the store team?

No. The report goes to your internal Slack channel and Google Sheets workspace. No data is sent to third parties or outside your accounts.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
