FinQuery Automated ASC 842 Disclosure Prep Report

Each quarter, WebRun opens FinQuery and pulls the quantitative disclosure tables required under ASC 842: lease cost summary, maturity analysis, weighted-average rate and term, and variable lease payments. It writes the data to a structured Google Sheet, flags any missing or incomplete cell, and notifies your reporting team in Slack that the disclosure prep package is ready for review.

In short

How do I automatically prepare the ASC 842 lease disclosure package from FinQuery?

WebRun opens FinQuery each quarter, pulls all required ASC 842 quantitative disclosure tables including lease cost, maturity analysis, weighted-average rates, and cash flow disclosures, writes them to a structured Google Sheet workbook with gap flags, and notifies your reporting team in Slack with the package link and filing deadline.

  • Quarterly disclosure package assembled in hours, not days
  • Data gaps flagged before they become last-minute audit findings
  • Reporting team notified with package link and filing deadline on the same run

Questions, answered

Will it file any disclosure or submit anything to the SEC or auditors?

No. WebRun assembles the data in a Google Sheet for your team to review and format for the final filing. Nothing is filed or submitted externally without your approval.

Does it cover IFRS 16 disclosures as well as ASC 842?

Yes. If your portfolio includes IFRS 16 leases, WebRun pulls the IFRS 16 disclosure tables from FinQuery in the same run and adds them to separate tabs in the workbook.

What if some disclosure data is missing from FinQuery?

It flags every blank cell and missing table in the workbook and counts the gaps in the Slack notification, so your team knows exactly what needs manual input before the package is complete.
