In short

How can I automatically audit my inventory for duplicate SKU entries?

Every Monday, WebRun exports your full item master from NetSuite, scans for exact duplicate SKU codes and near-matches by name or barcode, logs each conflict in a Google Sheet with a suggested resolution, and posts a weekly audit summary to Slack - so ordering errors and book mismatches get fixed before they compound.

  • Duplicate SKUs caught weekly before causing ordering errors or accounting mismatches
  • Each conflict logged with a suggested resolution to speed up cleanup
  • Item master accuracy maintained without manual spot-checks

Built for inventory managers · e-commerce operations · ERP administrators · warehouse teams

What does WebRun do on every run?

Questions, answered

Will it merge or delete duplicate SKUs in NetSuite automatically?

Never - merging item records touches stock levels, open orders, and your books. WebRun surfaces the conflicts and suggestions; your team makes the changes.

How does it detect near-duplicates that aren't exact matches?

It compares item names after stripping punctuation and normalising case, and also checks for matching barcodes or vendor part numbers on different SKU codes.

What if we intentionally have similar items for different sizes or colours?

Those will show as near-matches in the Google Sheet. You can mark them as 'Intentional - keep separate' and they'll be excluded from future audit reports.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
