Automated Inspection Re-Inspection Follow-Up

When a HomeGauge report is completed with repair-verification items, WebRun reads the flagged items, checks your Google Calendar for available re-inspection slots, drafts a follow-up email to the client offering to book the re-inspection, and queues it in Gmail for your approval before any message is sent.

In short

How do I automatically follow up with clients to schedule re-inspections after a report?

When a HomeGauge report is completed with repair-verification items, WebRun reads those flagged items, checks Google Calendar for your next available re-inspection slots, and drafts a follow-up email to the client in Gmail. The draft waits for your approval before any message is sent, turning every flagged report into a re-inspection opportunity without manual work.

  • Every report with flagged items triggers a re-inspection offer draft within minutes
  • Clients receive available slots based on your live calendar, not a generic message
  • No re-inspection opportunity is missed due to lack of follow-up

Questions, answered

Will it contact the client about re-inspection without my approval?

No. The follow-up email is always left as an unsent Gmail draft. You review it and send it yourself, so no client is contacted until you have approved the message.

How does it know which items need a re-inspection?

WebRun reads the items flagged in the HomeGauge report. You control which item types trigger this workflow by configuring the flag labels in your HomeGauge settings.

Does this work with Spectora or ISN reports too?

Yes. The same re-inspection follow-up flow runs on Spectora (spectora.com) and ISN (inspectionsupport.com) reports. This template is built on HomeGauge but works with any of the three.
