No. It only checks NHSN's current submission status in view-only mode and reports the gap. Reviewing the data and clicking submit in NHSN always stays a task for your IP team.

How far ahead does it warn about a deadline?

It flags any outstanding module in Teams once 7 or fewer days remain, and marks any module already past its deadline at the top of the message so it cannot be missed.

What if a module was submitted directly in NHSN without going through ICNet?

It reads NHSN's live submission status each morning, so a module already marked submitted there is recorded as complete on the next run.
