Does WebRun place the isolation order itself?
No. It only flags a newly identified MDRO carrier and notifies the unit. Placing the formal isolation order and putting up signage stays a task for your nursing and IP staff.
Will it also flag when precautions can be discontinued?
No. This workflow only covers starting precautions on a new flag. Ending isolation always requires a clinician to confirm clearance criteria are met.
What if the patient already has an isolation flag from a prior admission?
