Automated Furniture Financing Approval Follow-Up
Every morning, WebRun opens STORIS, finds customers with a financing approval that has not yet converted to a purchase order, drafts a timely follow-up email for each one, and queues the drafts in Gmail for sales staff to review and send before the approval window closes.
How do I automatically follow up with customers who have a furniture financing approval?
Each morning, WebRun opens STORIS, finds every customer with a financing approval that has not yet converted to a purchase order, and drafts a follow-up email in Gmail for each one. Sales staff get a Slack summary with expiring approvals flagged, then review and send the drafts to help customers act before their approval window closes.
- Financing-approved customers receive a timely follow-up before their approval lapses
- Approvals expiring within 7 days are flagged as high priority in Slack
- No financing follow-up goes out without the sales associate's review

Questions, answered
Will it contact financing-approved customers automatically?
No. Every follow-up email is saved as a Gmail draft and listed for the assigned sales associate in Slack. A staff member reviews and sends each one before it reaches the customer.
What happens when a customer places their order after the draft is created?
The next morning's run will not find that customer in the unconverted list, but staff should discard any draft already in Gmail for a customer who has since placed their order.
Can it handle approvals from multiple financing providers?
Yes, as long as the financing approval status is recorded in STORIS. WebRun reads the status field regardless of which provider issued the approval.
