Automated Fleetio Missing DVIR Follow-Up Queue
Every morning, WebRun opens Fleetio, checks which active vehicles are expected to have a driver vehicle inspection report from the previous operational day, identifies those with no submission on record, and posts the missing-DVIR list to Slack so your compliance team can follow up with drivers before the regulatory window closes.
How do I track which drivers have not submitted their daily vehicle inspection report?
WebRun checks Fleetio every morning for active vehicles that operated the previous day but have no DVIR on record. It posts the missing-submission list to Slack with driver names and days since last inspection, so your compliance team can follow up before the gap becomes a regulatory violation. Vehicles with consecutive misses are flagged as high-priority.
- Missing DVIRs are caught the next morning before the compliance window closes
- Drivers with consecutive missed submissions are flagged as high-priority follow-ups
- Compliance team has a clear action list in Slack every morning without manual checking
Built for fleet compliance managers · safety officers · transportation dispatchers · DOT compliance teams

Questions, answered
Will it message the driver directly to remind them to submit?
No. WebRun posts the missing-DVIR list to your compliance Slack channel for a team member to follow up. Direct driver messages are queued as drafts for a human to review and send, since driver-facing communications carry compliance implications.
How does it know which vehicles operated yesterday?
It cross-references active vehicle assignments and dispatch records in Fleetio to determine which units should have a DVIR, so vehicles that were out of service or unassigned are excluded.
What if a driver submitted a DVIR through a third-party telematics app?
WebRun checks the inspection records synced into Fleetio. If your telematics provider integrates with Fleetio and pushes DVIR data, those submissions are recognized. Submissions in separate systems not synced to Fleetio will not appear.
