Automated Estate Transaction Reconciliation Digest
Every Friday, WebRun opens EstateExec and reads all transactions posted that week, matches them against entries in QuickBooks, identifies any unmatched or missing items, and posts the executor a Slack reconciliation summary with matched totals and a list of items needing attention.
How do I automatically reconcile estate transactions between EstateExec and QuickBooks?
Every Friday, WebRun reads all transactions logged in EstateExec for the week, matches them against QuickBooks entries by date and amount, and posts the executor a Slack summary of matched totals, unmatched items, and the closing reconciled balance. No records are changed. Corrections stay with the executor.
- Every unmatched transaction is surfaced before month-end close
- Executor gets a clean Friday reconciliation summary without manually comparing two systems
- Closing reconciled balance is confirmed weekly so errors do not compound

Questions, answered
Will it make any changes to records in EstateExec or QuickBooks automatically?
No. WebRun reads transactions from both systems and reports discrepancies. It does not edit, delete, or reconcile records in either system. All corrections are made by the executor.
What counts as an unmatched transaction?
An unmatched transaction is one that appears in EstateExec but has no corresponding QuickBooks entry within plus or minus one day and the same amount, or vice versa.
Does it handle multiple estates at once?
Yes. It runs the reconciliation for each active estate in EstateExec and groups the Slack summary by estate so the executor can see which estate each discrepancy belongs to.
