Automated Colonoscopy Recall Worklists

Every Monday, WebRun opens EndoManager, reads prior colonoscopy results and their recommended follow-up intervals, finds patients now due or overdue for the next screening or surveillance exam, builds a recall worklist in Google Sheets, and posts a Slack summary with draft outreach for staff to review.

In short

How do I automatically find patients overdue for a surveillance colonoscopy?

WebRun finds overdue colonoscopy patients every week. It reads prior results and their recommended follow-up intervals in EndoManager, calculates who is now due or overdue, builds a sorted recall worklist in Google Sheets, and posts a Slack summary with draft outreach, so staff can recall the most overdue patients first with a person approving every message.

  • Patients overdue for surveillance are surfaced every week, not lost to follow-up
  • The most overdue patients are worked first because the list is sorted by lateness
  • Recall outreach is drafted for staff, keeping a person on every patient message

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it contact patients about their recall automatically?

No. WebRun builds the worklist and drafts outreach, but staff review and send every message. No patient is contacted on its own, so recall communications always have a person in the loop.

How does it know when a patient is due?

It reads the recommended follow-up interval recorded on each prior colonoscopy in EndoManager and adds it to the last exam date. Patients whose next-due date has arrived or passed appear on the worklist.

Does it skip patients who already rebooked?

Yes. Anyone with a future colonoscopy already scheduled in EndoManager is left off the worklist, so staff only see patients who still need to be recalled.

Put this on autopilot.
