nAbleIVF Automated Thaw Survival Digest

Every Monday, WebRun reads the past week's thaw records in nAbleIVF, counts eggs and embryos warmed and surviving, works out survival rates by embryologist, freeze method, and storage age, logs the figures to a Google Sheet trend tab, and posts a KPI digest to Slack so the lab sees any dip in thaw survival against its rolling baseline.

In short

How do I automatically track egg and embryo thaw survival rates in an IVF lab?

WebRun reads the past week's egg and embryo thaw records in nAbleIVF every Monday and works out survival rates by embryologist, freeze method, and storage age. It logs the figures to a Google Sheet and posts a KPI digest to Slack against a rolling baseline, so your lab spots a dip in thaw survival early, not at the quarterly review.

  • A drop in thaw survival is caught within a week, not a quarter
  • Survival rates are broken out by clinician, method, and storage age
  • A rolling KPI trend builds up in one sheet

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens www.nableivf.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
nAbleIVF - read the week's thaw records
    nableivf.com
WebRun in nAbleIVF: read the week's thaw records
WebRun opens nAbleIVF to read the week's thaw records.
    • Open nAbleIVF and read the past week's egg and embryo warming records
    • For each thaw, capture eggs or embryos warmed, number surviving, freeze method, storage age, and embryologist
    • Work out survival rate per thaw and roll it up by embryologist, method, and storage age
    • Note any thaw with a survival rate below your review threshold

Done when Every thaw this week is captured with its survival rate and grouping fields.

  3. 2
Google Sheets - log survival-rate KPIs
    google.com
WebRun in Google Sheets: log survival-rate KPIs
WebRun opens Google Sheets to log survival-rate KPIs.
    • Write this week's survival figures to the KPI sheet
    • Record overall survival rate plus breakdowns by embryologist, freeze method, and storage age
    • Append to the trend tab so week-over-week movement is visible
    • Compare against the rolling baseline and mark any group that has dropped

Done when This week's survival-rate KPIs are saved and compared to the baseline in the Google Sheet.

  4. 3
Slack - post the weekly thaw digest
    slack.com
WebRun in Slack: post the weekly thaw digest
WebRun opens Slack to post the weekly thaw digest.
    • Post a KPI digest to the lab Slack channel with the week's overall survival rate
    • Show the breakdowns and highlight any embryologist, method, or storage age that dropped against baseline
    • Keep it internal to the lab, using aggregate figures rather than individual patient records

Done when The lab has this week's thaw survival digest in Slack.

Questions, answered

Is any patient-identifiable data in the digest?

No. The Slack digest reports aggregate survival rates by embryologist, method, and storage age, not individual patient records. The detailed sheet stays in your own internal Google workspace on the allowlist, so no patient information leaves the clinic.

How does it decide something dropped?

It compares each group's survival rate this week to a rolling baseline you set and flags any that fall below it. You choose the baseline window and the threshold, so the digest highlights real dips rather than normal week-to-week noise.

Does it change any lab record?

No. WebRun only reads the thaw records in nAbleIVF and writes figures to your own Google Sheet and Slack. It never edits a warming record or a survival count, so the source data is untouched and the digest is purely reporting.
