Automated Relativity Review Batch Assignment Drafts

Every morning, WebRun checks Relativity for review batches that have not been assigned to a reviewer, looks up each reviewer's current workload in a Google Sheet, drafts a concise assignment email for each batch in Gmail, and logs the pending assignments so nothing is forgotten.

In short

How do I automatically draft reviewer assignment emails for unassigned Relativity batches?

WebRun checks Relativity each morning for unassigned or urgent review batches, looks up reviewer availability in Google Sheets, and drafts a concise assignment email in Gmail for each. The project manager reviews and sends each draft manually, so no reviewer receives an assignment without a human confirming it first.

  • No review batch sits unassigned overnight without a drafted follow-up
  • Assignment emails are consistent and include all the details reviewers need
  • The PM spends minutes approving drafts rather than writing emails from scratch

Questions, answered

Will it send the assignment emails to reviewers automatically?

No. Every email is saved as a Gmail draft. The project manager must open each draft, confirm the reviewer and details, and send it manually. Nothing is sent without approval.

How does it decide which reviewer to assign?

It reads the current workload from your Google Sheets tracker and proposes the reviewer with the most available capacity. You set the assignment logic and capacity thresholds in the settings.

What if a batch gets assigned inside Relativity before the run?

It checks live batch status in Relativity each morning, so any batch already assigned is skipped automatically. Only genuinely unassigned batches get a draft.

Put this on autopilot.
