Automated BCC Software Postage Savings Reports

Every Monday, WebRun opens BCC Software, pulls the presort results for every job completed that week, calculates the postage saved against the single-piece rate for each, reconciles the actual postage spend recorded in QuickBooks, logs the full breakdown to a Google Sheet, and posts your account managers a Slack summary they can share with each client.

In short

How do I show clients how much presort postage they saved each week?

Every Monday, WebRun opens BCC Software and pulls the presort results for every job completed that week, calculating the postage saved against the single-piece rate. It reconciles the figure against the actual postage charged in QuickBooks, logs the full breakdown to Google Sheets, and posts your account managers a client-ready Slack summary to share.

  • Clients see their exact postage savings every week, not just at contract renewal
  • Savings figures are reconciled against actual QuickBooks postage spend before sharing
  • A running per-client savings total builds automatically in Google Sheets

Built for lettershops · mailing houses · account managers · direct mail sales teams

Questions, answered

Does it send the savings report straight to clients?

No. WebRun posts the client-ready summary to your account managers in Slack. A person decides how and when to share it with each client, so nothing reaches a client on its own.

How is the savings figure calculated?

It compares the postage class each job actually achieved through presort against the single-piece rate for the same piece count, using the rates you confirm at setup.

Why check QuickBooks as well as BCC Software?

To make sure the calculated savings match what was actually charged for postage. Any job where the two disagree gets flagged for a manual check instead of going out in the summary unverified.

Put this on autopilot.
