In short

How do I automatically track capital campaign pledge progress for church leadership?

Every Monday during your capital campaign, WebRun pulls current pledge totals and payments received from Pushpay, updates the campaign tracker in Google Sheets with pacing data, and posts an aggregate progress report to your leadership Slack channel. No manual report pulling and no individual donor data in Slack.

  • Leadership sees current pledge totals and pacing data in Slack every Monday without manual report pulling
  • Behind-schedule pledges are flagged in the tracker for the giving team to review
  • Individual donor data stays private while aggregate progress is visible to the full leadership team

Questions, answered

Does the Slack report include individual donor names or gift amounts?

No. The Slack report contains only aggregate totals: total pledges, total received, percentage of goal, and pacing data. Individual giving records remain private in Pushpay and the restricted Google Sheets tracker.

What does it do about pledges that are falling behind on payments?

WebRun flags behind-schedule pledges in the Google Sheets tracker for the giving team to review. It does not contact donors automatically. Any pledge follow-up is handled separately by the giving team with a human-reviewed message.

Can it track a multi-year campaign with phases?

Yes. The Google Sheets tracker can be set up with phase goals and timelines. WebRun reports progress against the current phase goal as well as the overall campaign total each week.
