How do I track my weekly carcass and primal costs per pound?
WebRun recaps your carcass and primal costs every Monday. It pulls the past week's supplier bills from QuickBooks, matches each to the weight Markt POS recorded as received, calculates a true cost per pound, and logs the recap to Google Sheets with anything moving more than 5 percent from the trailing average flagged for you.
- Cost per pound is tracked automatically instead of recalculated by hand
- Price moves over 5 percent get flagged the same week they happen
- Unpaid supplier bills surface in the same recap
Built for butcher shops · meat markets · meat processors · independent grocers

Questions, answered
Does it pay any supplier bills?
No. It only reads bills already entered in QuickBooks to build the recap. It never pays, schedules a payment, or changes a bill's status.
How does it calculate cost per pound?
It divides each bill's total cost by the weight Markt POS recorded as received for that carcass or cut, so the figure reflects what actually arrived, not just the invoice quantity.
What counts as a meaningful price move?
By default anything more than 5 percent off the trailing 4 week average gets flagged. Tell WebRun a different threshold and it uses that instead.
