Questions, answered
Will it send the price notice to accounts automatically?
No. The Mailchimp campaign is built and queued as a draft. A manager reviews it, sets the send date, and approves it. Nothing goes to accounts until a human clicks Send.
How does it know which accounts to notify?
It cross-references each affected SKU against order history in VIP to identify accounts that carry the product, so the notice goes only to contacts who are actually affected.
What if a price change is larger than usual?
Changes exceeding 5 percent are flagged in the Google Sheets register and called out in the Slack alert so management can decide whether to adjust pricing or communicate early.
