In short

How do I keep material return credits from getting missed?

Every morning, WebRun opens DMSi Agility and finds every material return that has been received and inspected but has no credit memo yet. It drafts the credit memo in QuickBooks with the item, quantity, and restocking terms for accounting to review, and posts a Slack alert for any return still open past three days, so contractors get credited on time.

  • Inspected returns get a drafted credit memo the same morning, not weeks later
  • Aging returns surface in Slack before a contractor has to call about it
  • No credit posts to an account without accounting reviewing it first

Questions, answered

Will it post the credit memo to the contractor's account automatically?

No. WebRun drafts the credit memo in QuickBooks with the item, quantity, and any restocking fee, and leaves it as a draft. Accounting reviews and posts it, so no credit reaches an account without approval.

How does it calculate the restocking fee?

It reads the condition and terms recorded on the return authorization in DMSi Agility, and applies whatever restocking fee or full credit your team already set for that return before drafting the memo.

What about returns still waiting on inspection?

Those are skipped. WebRun only drafts a credit memo for returns marked Received and Inspected in DMSi Agility, so nothing is credited before someone has actually checked the material.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
