Does it send assignment details directly to investigators' phones?
By default, the briefing posts to a shared Slack operations channel. If you want individual investigators to receive only their own assignments, you can configure personal Slack messages or use the surveillance assignment confirmation workflow instead.
What happens if a case is added or changed after the morning briefing runs?
The briefing is a snapshot of CROSStrax at 6:30 AM. For same-day changes, you can re-trigger the workflow manually or use the incident-exception-alerts workflow to catch urgent updates throughout the day.
Does it include surveillance locations in the Slack post?
It includes the location field from CROSStrax, which is typically a general area or an address. For highly sensitive surveillance locations, you can configure the workflow to replace the full address with a case number reference only.
