In short

How do I automatically track prior authorization expiry and status in an O&P practice?

WebRun scans OPIE Software every morning for open prior authorizations, flags those expiring within 14 days or stuck pending a payer response, and updates a Google Sheet with the latest status and urgency level. Your billing team gets a live tracker updated daily without opening OPIE to check each case manually.

  • No prior authorization lapses without your team being alerted in advance
  • Billing staff get a live sheet showing every open auth with expiry and urgency
  • Prior auth status updates daily without anyone manually checking OPIE

Built for O&P billing coordinators · practice managers · prosthetics and orthotics clinics

Questions, answered

Will it submit authorization requests to payers automatically?

No. WebRun reads and tracks authorization status only. Any submission to a payer must be reviewed and sent by a staff member.

How does it decide which authorizations are urgent?

It flags any authorization expiring within 14 days and any that has been pending with a payer for more than 10 business days. You can ask WebRun to adjust those thresholds.

What if an authorization is in OPIE but not yet in the sheet?

WebRun adds a new row automatically, so the sheet stays a complete record of all open authorizations without manual entry.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
