Automated Fishbowl to Shopify Stock Sync
Every hour, WebRun opens Fishbowl, reads finished-goods on-hand quantities, compares them against the matching Shopify product listings, stages an inventory update for any SKU that has drifted, leaves it for you to approve, and posts the mismatches to Slack.
How do I keep Shopify stock in sync with my Fishbowl finished goods?
Every hour, WebRun opens Fishbowl and reads finished-goods on-hand quantities, then compares each SKU against your Shopify listings. It stages an inventory update for any SKU that has drifted, leaves it for you to approve before it goes live, and posts the mismatches to Slack, so your storefront stock stays honest as production moves.
- Storefront stock matches what you have built
- Sold-out items are caught within the hour
- No live listing changes without your approval
Built for makers who sell online · small manufacturers · ecommerce operations · production managers

Questions, answered
Will it change my live storefront stock on its own?
No. WebRun stages each Shopify inventory update and leaves it for you to approve before it goes live, so a miscount in Fishbowl never silently changes what customers see on the storefront.
How does it match products between the two?
It matches on SKU between Fishbowl finished goods and Shopify listings, comparing the on-hand quantity in Fishbowl against the available quantity in Shopify and staging an update only where they disagree.
What about items that just sold out?
Yes. When a finished good drops to zero on hand in Fishbowl, WebRun flags it in Slack and stages the sold-out update so you can take the listing down or mark it out of stock.
