In short

How can I track LTL detention and demurrage charges before they hit my invoice?

WebRun scans your active LTL shipments in SMC3 every morning for detention and demurrage accumulation, logs each exposure with PRO number and carrier detail in Google Sheets, and posts a ranked Slack alert to your ops team so high-charge shipments get human attention before the invoice arrives.

  • Ops team sees detention exposure every morning instead of after invoice receipt
  • High-priority shipments are flagged by estimated charge so effort goes where it counts
  • Teams can dispute or mitigate charges while the shipment is still active

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it dispute detention charges automatically?

No. WebRun only surfaces exposure so your team can act. Any dispute letter or carrier communication must be approved and sent by a human.

How does it know how much free time each carrier allows?

It reads the tariff rules in SMC3, which carries carrier-specific free time and detention rate data for over 300 LTL carriers.

Can I set an alert threshold so I only hear about large exposures?

Yes. You can configure a minimum estimated charge or minimum hours-over threshold so the Slack alert only surfaces shipments worth acting on.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
