JobBOSS Automatic Vendor Certification Tracking
Every Monday, WebRun opens JobBOSS, reads the certification records for every outside process vendor such as plating, heat treat, and NDT, flags any certification expiring within 30 days, drafts a renewal request email to that vendor, and logs the expiry list to a Google Sheet ranked by how soon each one lapses.
How do I track expiring vendor certifications before an audit?
Every Monday, WebRun reads the certification records for every outside process vendor in JobBOSS, such as plating, heat treat, or NDT, and flags any certification expiring within 30 days. It drafts a renewal request to that vendor in Gmail and logs the expiry list to a Google Sheet, ranked by how soon each one lapses.
- Expiring certifications surface 30 days out instead of at audit time
- Every vendor renewal request stays a draft until you approve it
- Certifications are ranked so the soonest expiration gets handled first
Built for job shops · machine shops · quality managers · purchasing coordinators

Questions, answered
Will it email vendors without me?
No. WebRun only drafts the renewal request and leaves it unsent in Gmail. You review it and send it yourself, so nothing goes to a vendor unapproved.
What counts as expiring soon?
Any certification on file in JobBOSS with an expiry date within the next 30 days. You can adjust that window to fit your own audit lead time.
Does it update the certification record itself?
No. WebRun only reads the certification dates in JobBOSS. Once a vendor sends an updated certificate, someone still needs to upload and record it.
